Cardiac Action Potentials Part 2 AR and Muscle APs

An introduction to the action potentials that occur in the heart. First, I briefly review how action potentials are changes in voltage over time and this ability to change voltage over time is set up by the Na/K ATPase as well as voltage-dependent channels. I then describe how the different voltage-dependent channels in auto-rhythmic cells and cardiac muscle cells create their respective action potentials.
